“Any chance you’ll be back this fall?” Pastor Ron asked me.
The question hit me like a fist to the chest. It felt like an invitation from Holy Spirit.
“No, probably not. I can’t be at most of the places doing 10 Days.”
I was sensing something from the Lord, but I knew enough by now not to make a long-term commitment based on an instant impression. I’d come back to it in my prayer closet.
It was May 2026 and our 10 Days Southwest Summit was wrapping up. I was encouraged by the early plans being made for Santa Fe that fall, and also by the other leaders who had joined from around the region.
Being on that ground was a full-circle moment. When I received the 10 Days vision in 2004, I lived in Santa Fe and attended a city-wide pastors’ gathering at Pastor Ron’s church. I felt like I had come home.
That summer, I began to pray, listen to the Lord, and discern. What I had initially sensed from Pastor Ron’s question kept growing. I felt God wanted me in the Southwest that fall…
