We’re Stepping Into Something New
(and Carrying Something Old)
Dear Friends,
Several years ago, my friend Matthew Lilley asked me if I'd like to start a publishing company. God had been speaking to me before that about things doing new things that "I hadn't thought of" and that "were fun" and "with my friends." Needless to say, Matthew's proposal seemed to check all the boxes. Not only were Matthew and I friends, but his book "David's Tabernacle" was deeply impactful for me and I was excited to get more books like that out into the world.
In the fall of 2023, the two of us published our own books together to launch of Presence Pioneers Media. Then, in 2024 we started publishing weekly teachings on Substack. In 2025, we published four new books. We've been trying to stay consistent with weekly teachings and podcasts plus periodic books. Our goal is to encourage and strengthen the praying church, including people involved in 10 Days.
About a year ago, another friend, Jonathan Graf reached out to us. He was preparing to retire and asked us if we'd be interested in taking over his publishing company, PrayerShop and the related Church Prayer Leader's Network. Jonathan lived and worked closely with Dave Butts, the longtime head of the National Prayer Committee before his untimely passing from cancer. Prayer Connect magazine was a staple at churches around the US. Matthew and I were really excited about the opportunity, primarily because we sense it is an opportunity to continue and honor the work of Jonathan, Dave, and others who have gone before us and continue that work into the next generation.
So, after about a year of figuring out the details, we wanted to announce that Presence Pioneers Media will be taking the baton from PrayerShop and Church Prayer Leaders Network, continuing the work of this ministry into the next generation. Join me in praying for God's blessing as we carry publishing for the prayer movement into the next generation.
